Challengers of Olympus
Drama Point Changes
To simulate the horror and deadliness of Cthulhu all character types have had their starting drama points reduced by half. The ways in which you can use drama points has also changed (slightly).
A Drama Point can be used in the following ways:
Heroic Feat: Add +5 to any roll.
Better Lucky Than Good: Reroll one failed roll
I Think I’m Ok: Reduce any damage taken up to that point by half.
Righteous Fury: Spend 2 Drama Points to add +5 to attacks and damage for the rest of the encounter. (Can only be used when someone close to the character has suffered a personal attack or someone close to them has suddenly betrayed them)
Plot Twist: This can be used only once per session to “rewrite” a particular scene or circumstance. (Subject to GM Approval)
If I Close My Eyes, This Will All Go Away: Remove all fear penalties for one fear check.
Back From the Dead: In the world of Cthulhu death is permanent. Drama points cannot be used to reverse death. (Although there might be a spell that does, but I wouldn’t recommend it.)
